Procurement
Director,
NHS Supply Chain
Roger
has been Procurement Director at NHS Supply Chain since March 2007,
following a varied career across a wide spectrum of industries encompassing
manufacturing, engineering, sales and procurement. Following an
early career in manufacturing, he worked for 12 years in sales with
IBM, delivering complex systems integration projects. He then moved
into the retail sector, working for Asda as Commercial Manager,
after which he took up a consultancy role, initially specialising
in facilities management and infrastructure procurement. He later
worked for Coopers & Lybrand, Ernst & Young and Capgemini.
Roger has worked for a wide range of public and private sector clients
in a consultancy capacity, including HM Revenue and Customs and
NHS Scotland, helping them to deliver procurement and supply chain
excellence.
